Lebanese Nationality by Descent: Why Registration, Not Application, Is the Real Question

If your father was Lebanese, you are Lebanese. Not eligible to become Lebanese, but Lebanese already, by force of law, from the day you were born. Article 1 of Decision No. 15 of 19 January 1925 attributes Lebanese nationality to "every person born of a Lebanese father", and it does so without an application, a deadline, or any element of discretion.
